What types of weddings do you accommodate?

We accommodate all weddings. We’re also like style chameleons, meaning we adapt to whatever style or good taste you desire.

What are your fees for wedding planning, event planning, or design and décor?

At Crystal Marie Events, we understand that you’re unique. Every client has different tastes, styles, preferences, and budgets. Before we quote you, we want to find out exactly what you’re looking for—this is good news! You don’t want a cookie-cutter approach, because your wedding is not a cookie-cutter wedding.  Once we have your information, we will get back to you with a customized quote that fits your needs. We charge a $25 consult fee and our minimum month-of management is $1,200.

Do you travel? Is there a limit to where you’ll go to plan a wedding or event?

Ummm, we love travel, and we love to travel for you. We’re based in the Metro Detroit area, but we’re also destination planners, meaning we’ll go where you go—whether that’s nationwide or internationally. Let’s travel together!

I know exactly what I want and how I want it. Will you have a problem working closely with me?

We work closely with all of our clients around the details surrounding their weddings. We provide thorough feedback and status updates, and are passionate about meeting all of your expectations. We plan events fit for divas and dapper dudes—they are VIP experiences, after all. We do have a zero tolerance policy, however, for individuals who are disrespectful or rude to our team, so please keep that in mind. We love all of our clients and brides, but definitely want to keep bridezilla from rearing her head.

What’s it like to work with you?

Amazing, of course! We work one-on-one with our clients to ensure that their dreams become a stunning reality. To begin with, we have a $25 in-depth one-hour consultation where we learn more about you and your event. This is where we get to know one another and you spill the beans about your big vision. I’ll ask you some questions, and we’ll get crystal (no pun intended ;)) clear about what you’re looking for. If you’re ready to say yes—not to the dress—but to us as your wedding planners, we’ll reserve your wedding date on our calendar. You’ll pay a retainer fee to reserve us, and then we’ll start planning! YAY!!

What services do you provide?

We provide wedding planning services, including month-of management, partial planning and full service planning. We also provide social event planning services for retirement parties, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, anniversary parties, bridal showers, corporate events, and more. In addition, we provide design and décor that truly transforms venues into the atmosphere our clients want.
Month-of Management is for the bride who knows what she wants and needs a helping hand + logistical planner.
Partial Planning is for the bride who still wants to be involved in her own wedding yet needs a wedding planning guru to help a girl out.
Full Service Planning is for the bride who wants A to Z planning. It’s great for brides who have a full plate, just want someone to take over already, or are out-of-town/out-of-state.

Do you accept “kickbacks” from venues, photographers, or other wedding professionals?

We do not accept kickbacks from any vendors we recommend. It’s no surprise, however, that because we’ve established bestie status with a number of high quality vendors, we can save you some moola using some of our connections. We refer you to the wedding professionals or event professionals who we’ve had phenomenal and reliable experience working with, but the decision is yours. We want you to make the choice that is right for you and your event.
