About The Leland Green

The Leland Green is a first-of-its-kind outdoor recreational destination in the heart of Detroit's McDougall-Hunt neighborhood. Spanning six transformed lots across Leland and Grandy Street, it is a space built for the community, by the community.

From sunrise movement classes to sunset skating sessions, from local vendor markets to intimate ticketed dinners, the Leland Green brings programming, joy, and economic opportunity to the neighborhood all summer long.

Open seasonally from late May through early October, with all programming concluding by 9:00 PM in respect of neighboring homes.
